    Most of the studies focusing on divorce and the ending of relationships and cohabitations are based on qualitative research, not quantitative but a new study out of the UK overcomes the disadvantages of past research and provides a clearer insight into why live-in partnerships come to an end. The data come from NATSAL-3, a nationally representative survey of over 15,000 UK residents ages 16-74 interviewed between 2010 and 2012.
