Support My Sex Education Efforts on Patreon!

I have been incredibly fortunate to have a profession that I absolutely love – bringing accurate scientific information about sexuality to people in a sex positive, nonjudgmental way that hopefully helps people build better, more authentic, more pleasurable sexual and relationship lives. Throughout the years, I have shared #legitsexscience on social media, written for popular media outlets, given countless media interviews, published research in scientific journals, given talks and workshops, run a daily sex education live streaming show on Periscope, and created the Casual Sex Project, all in hopes of normalizing conversations about human sexuality–especially those expressions of human sexuality that exist on the margins of social acceptability–and educate people with the most up to date sex research.

In the past few months, I started two new projects, The Science of Sex Podcast and a video series on YouTube, #SexyInsightswithDrZ, in hopes to reach a broader audience and give even more people interesting and important information on sex.

The vast majority of this work I’ve done over the years and will continue to do in the future is unpaid or donation based, and all the content is available to everyone for free. But something has to pay the bills. This is where you can come in.

In order to keep all these projects going, I have created a Patreon page. Patreon is a platform that allows people to support content creators they like on a monthly subscription basis. It’s completely up to you how much you give, and you can stop your support at any point. Watch the video below for more info, and then head on to my Patreon page to become a patron!

Even the smallest amount per month helps!

THANK YOU!

If you walk past it, you’ll never know it, but on the streets of Bushwick stands the Hacienda Villa, an intentional, sex-positive, polyamorous community co-founded by Andrew Sparksfire and my business partner Kenneth Play. Founded as a social experiment designed to celebrate sex, educate the curious, and dispel shame, the Hacienda is a growing phenomenon looking to change the narrative of how people approach relationships and create a community, right in the heart of Bushwick, a neighborhood filled with people living alternative lifestyles.  So how does the Hacienda work? And what is polyamory, exactly? Get the answers to these questions and more in this

  • Why Pregnant Couples Should Totally Have Sex

For many couples, pregnancy puts a stop to sex, often driven by the stigma around pregnancy sex. A recent study found that a couple’s attitude toward pregnancy sex affected their overall sexual satisfaction, such that couples with positive attitudes were more satisfied. The study also found that negative attitudes often stem from myths or other cultural beliefs that have no basis in science. As I urged in my recent newsletter, if you’re pregnant give yourself the right to be a sexual being and if your partner is pregnant work on overcoming the harmful beliefs and make your partner feel desired

  • What Squirting Is And Isn’t

Squirting is a popular and hotly debated topic in both porn and sex science research, but we still know so little about it. What is squirting? Is it real? How does it work? Can all vagina-owners squirt? I answer many of your questions about this fascinating phenomenon in this Brides article I got interviewed for. But there’s still SO much we don’t know about it. So if you’d like to contribute to our collective knowledge of it, take the squirting survey that Kenneth Play and I put together. Anyone can take it, regardless of gender or squirting experience!
